Our Bayview club is a hidden gem located within the Leaside Community featuring 9,000 sq ft and is located one block north of Eglinton on the west side of Bayview. With 75 private parking spots, amazing Group Exercise program and friendly staff, Bayview has grown in popularity since its inception in 2002. The private parking can easily be accessed through Glazebrook located just north of the club.

I decided to join this gym not too long ago. I was expecting the usual gym experience, but as I walked in a curly haired young lady at the reception desk greeted me in the most welcoming way. It was my first visit alone, it was also my first visit with my first attempt at using the machines instead of sticking to attending classes. I was a bit hesitant with asking the receptionist for assistance as she was folding towels. I eventually noticed her walk around and as she quickly smiled I took my opportunity to ask her for assistance. I have never been so content with being provided assistance before until I met this young lady. She not only was genuinely nice, she made sure I felt comfortable asking questions. She was excellent at showing how machines work, I was surprised to find out that she is not a trainer.I'm at the gym as I write this and I have never cared to write a review for anything before except for today. If all the employees are just as sweet and responsive as her I'm more than sure I will be even more comfortable to come in almost every day. I caught a quick glimpse at her name tag, from what I remember it was Dylan. Hopefully this young lady will be credited, receptionists tend to be quite dismissive.. She definitely was the complete opposite. I also have to add that the gym is also VERY TIDY!

Love Women's Fitness Club, Bayview. Have been a member for a couple of years. Have been training with Kaitlin Van Duinen for a year. She is fabulous, encouraging and motivating. I can hardly believe the huge improvement in my physical fitness!

I have really enjoyed my membership these last couple of years. I unfortunately had to cancel because I have moved to South Etobicoke, Queensway and Royal York. Could you please consider opening a club in this neck of the woods? I would be delighted if you would. Kind Regards, Shae

When I first saw Maria, I had an extra 15 lbs that I gained from recently having two children within 16 months of each other. I was exhausted from looking after both newborn and a toddler, and wasn't eating properly. My energy levels were also quite low. So far, I have lost not only 15 lbs, but several inches in my arms, legs and torso. In addition my total body fat % has gone down. People that haven't seen me in a while are also noticing and asking me how I did it so quickly in a healthy way. Maria's program was efficient and thorough. She educated me on the science of healthy food choices for not only myself but for my family as well. Moving forward, I feel like a better version of me, and I am even more prepared to chase after my kids without hesitation! Maria McG

This is the first club I have ever been a member of, on a continual basis, for more than two years. The yoga classes are excellent. A great big shout out to Diane, Kaitlyn and Glory. Hali is amazing with Pilates. The reception staff are very friendly. Samantha, the Manager, was incredible when I first joined. Four weeks into my membership, I had a significant medical event and was so appreciative of the flexibility offered me with my membership and personal training sessions. Love the club and the people.

I have been a client of Sandra Pacheco’s at Women’s Fitness (Bayview) since Fall 2012. And it’s time that I shared with you how much benefit I have derived from our sessions together. Here is a short list – it is by no means exhaustive. • When we started, I had pain in both feet while walking or doing any form of exercise. Today I am pain-free and I know how to exercise if the plantar fasciitis comes back. • Last Summer, Sandra helped me to train for an eight-day, advanced-level cycling trip in the mountains of California. I felt so successful. • I understand several important principles of working out, like working out within the smaller range of motion for a bilateral seated leg curl or keeping the biceps engaged in both flexion and extension for a bicep curl. • I am able to come to the gym and work through an entire set of exercises because I can re-create what Sandra designed for me the previous week (this has never happened for me with any other trainer). • I no longer feel intimidated by any of the machines in the gym; in fact, Sandra taught me to get creative and adapt the machines for what I need. It is a privilege to train with Sandra. Clearly, she is passionate about what she does. This is not a job for her. It’s a calling. Any client of Women’s Fitness would be lucky to have Sandra as their trainer. Sincerely, Elizabeth

Gillian is a fantastic personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She brings positive energy and enthusiasm to her classes and keeps me coming back to the gym! WFCC Promenade would not be the same without her

I've been a member of this gym for about 4 years now. Even though it's small, there are always machines/equipment available, and there is a good selection of group classes to choose from. The facility is clean and well maintained, the staff are helpful and friendly. Another thing I love are the members of this club. I have met a bunch of great friends, which makes all the difference when you are trying to drag yourself to the gym!
